Fields Good Chicken

We’re not in midtown, but my union square work neighborhood has plenty of bowl spots to choose from. It’s the midtown lunch, just not in midtown. Fields Good Chicken falls into that category and I’m happy to include it in the lunch rotation.

The concept is simple: tender chicken in about 4 different preparations, served as a platter, salad, or sandwich. I got the Bueno Bowl 2.0, which comes with mojo thigh, brown rice, avocado mash, black beans, tomato (that’s kinda like a puck de gallo), and chipotle bbq. It wasn’t complicated but still felt seasoned and I felt like I was getting whole foods in me – not the grocery store, more like well rounded and no preservatives. This bowl felt packed with protein and I didn’t feel bad about eating it. The only think I’ll change up next time is adding an extra sauce or two because I loveeee my sauces.
